Wright is demoing Dynamo at the SOCOM Bare Base Fair this Wednesday April 16 at MacDill AFB, Tampa, FL. If you are planning to attend and would like a private demo, feel free to reply to this message and we will be happy to arrange it.
The Bare Base Fair is United States Special Operations Command's (SOCOM) premier venue to showcase products related to Bare Base solutions for expeditionary DoD entities. We were thrilled to be invited alongside top defense primes.

Wright Dynamo

Dynamo is a 3-in-1 aircraft start cart + 30 kW generator + microgrid hub:
- 90% lower weight: It replaces 8,000 lbs of equipment (MEP-805B, B809, inverter) with a single unit that weighs 800 lbs.
- 90% more compact: It takes up 1/6th of a 463L pallet, instead of the two full 463L pallets that these three items require together.
- It is ultra-quiet and maneuverable without a forklift.
- SAF/IEN estimates $7-10M annual cost savings.
- It was built with experts from AMC CRG and AFSOC.
We conducted a demonstration with AFSOC in December that led to validated requirements, letters of support from multiple general officers, and funding pledges. Now we're starting to take initial FY 26-27 prototype orders and are happy to speak with potential users.
Also, here is a photo from our packed event at the ARPA-E Annual Summit last month. A leader at a prestigious DoD innovation group mentioned that our technology was the "most mature and transitionable hardware" they saw while at the Summit.
